Decoupled Days 2025 Opens Call for Session Proposals
Decoupled Days 2025 is now accepting session proposals for its eighth annual conference, scheduled for August 13-14 at The City College of New York. As the only non-profit, community-led event focused on the future of content and commerce architectures, Decoupled Days invites speakers to present 25- and 50-minute sessions covering a range of topics in modern web development. The five tracks include Traditional Content and Commerce, which explores monolithic CMS architectures like Drupal and WordPress; Headless Content and Commerce, focusing on APIs, headless CMS platforms, and commerce technologies; JavaScript and Jamstack, featuring modern frameworks, static site generators, and hosting solutions; People and Community, addressing equity, accessibility, mental health, and governance; and Business/CXO, covering case studies, client relations, and business strategies in the decoupled ecosystem.
The conference prioritizes diversity and inclusion, reserving at least 50% of accepted sessions for speakers from underrepresented groups and 10% for first-time presenters. Organizers encourage submissions from women, people of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, disabled people, veterans, neurodivergent individuals, and those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
The submission deadline is Monday, March 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM PST. Prospective speakers can submit proposals online, and those with prepared slides may send them directly via email to decoupleddays@gmail.com. More information is available at Decoupled Days.
