Automated Cart Reminders: Boosting Conversions with Drupal Commerce

The approach utilizes Drupal Commerce along with the Events, Conditions, and Actions (ECA) module, Easy Email module, and custom views to send timely email reminders to customers who log in but do not complete their purchase. According to the blog, emails are sent after 5 days and 25 days of cart inactivity before the system automatically clears the cart. This method, demonstrated through the experience of a manufacturer/distributor client, aims to improve customer engagement and sales conversions by encouraging users to complete their orders.
