ACOLONO Sweeps the Splash Awards at DrupalCon Vienna
Austrian Digital Agency Wins Three Awards at International Competition

At the SplashAwards Germany and Austria, the prestigious event of the international Drupal community during DrupalCon Vienna, ACOLONO celebrated on stage three times with a first place, a second place, and an Honorary Mention.
Hosted in the historic Palais Wertheim, the award ceremony honoured the best Drupal projects across the region. Out of four nominations, ACOLONO won three awards—an impressive result that highlights the company’s expertise in accessible, user-friendly web development.
Gold in the Government Category
ACOLONO received first place in the Government category for the relaunch of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG). The project, built with Drupal 10, impressed the international jury with a consistent focus on usability and accessibility. The new platform at ffg.at sets new standards for the digital presence of public institutions in Austria.
Silver for a Future-Proof Platform
Second place in the Solutions category also went to ACOLONO, for the development of ecoplus.at. The platform for economic innovation combines cutting-edge technology with a future-proof architecture and offers a central hub for economic development in Lower Austria.
Special Recognition for Accessibility
The FFG project also received an additional Honorary Mention in the Accessibility category, a special award that acknowledges ACOLONO’s commitment to digital inclusion. The double recognition for a single project highlights the holistic quality of the implementation.
In addition, ACOLONO was nominated for the modular web development and design of Bertha von Suttner University St. Pölten at suttneruni.at.
After the formal ceremony, the international Drupal community celebrated together at Palais Wertheim, honouring community success and the exchange of innovative web solutions.
