Cristina Chumillas

Cristina Chumillas is the Chief Operating Officer at Cambrico and a long-time leader in the Drupal community. With over 11 years of experience in Drupal, she has served as a core committer, subsystem and topic maintainer, initiative coordinator, and Track Chair Lead for multiple DrupalCons.

A front-end specialist with a strong background in UX and product design, Cristina has led development on key projects like Claro and the new core Navigation initiative. She has been credited with more than 330 issue fixes and has maintained over seven Drupal projects. Her contributions span modules, installation profiles, documentation, translations, and strategic planning for the Drupal CMS.

Cristina has played an active role in local and global communities, co-organizing the Catalan Drupal Association and Drupal Summer Barcelona, and speaking at numerous DrupalCons. In her role at Cambrico, she continues to champion open source, sustainability, and innovation—driving forward initiatives like site templates that benefit both the Drupal ecosystem and business adopters.
