Thomas Howell

I have been working with Drupal since the summer of 2009 and started with D6. With a background in middleware and experience in both site building and support, issues such as authentication and search are of great interest to me. Ultimately, I hope to see large numbers of creative approaches to Research using web applications that can cheaply and intelligently be launched in short periods of time leveraging Drupal, Solr, and various tool sets such as Google Maps (or open source mapping solutions). An interest in taxonomy and the dream of a common understanding and adoption of standards amongst site builders are two of my more persistent and perhaps perplexing traits.
