Ariane Feldmann (odras)
About
In 1999, Ariane (Prüß) Feldmann built her first website. It was a rather crude creation, made with Microsoft FrontPage—one of the earliest WYSIWYG desktop editors of its kind—and, unsurprisingly, it only functioned properly in Internet Explorer.
A few years later, she discovered a place called "c-base," a community where members claimed to be reconstructing a crashed space station—some perhaps even believed it. There, she met a group of talented individuals who truly understood how to build websites. One of them introduced her to the German HTML reference project, selfhtml.org.
"If you want to build a website, read this," he told her.
She took his advice, delved into the material, and in doing so, fell in love with code.
