Luis Alberto Mejia Rodriguez, Consultor especializado en Drupal y Symfony
Born in the Dominican Republic, he studied advertising at APEC University, specializing in Advertising Design.
He worked for several years as a graphic designer for different companies until, in 2000, he accepted the job offer to become a web designer for a company that had recently arrived in the country.
From then on, he became interested in programming, layout, and web page development, leading him to take several training courses. These courses helped him decide on the optimal tools and languages that would allow him to dedicate himself to them.
With a little more experience and knowledge, in 2002, he began to work formally as a web layout designer/programmer; in addition, during the following years, after completing an intensive training course for trainers at the National Institute for Professional Technical Training INFOTEP, he began to work as a trainer in various institutions and academies in Santo Domingo, in parallel with his career as a web developer.
In 2005, he accepted a job offer in Barcelona, Spain, where, from the second year onwards, he devoted himself to rebuilding his reputation as a developer and trainer until, in 2009, another Spanish company in the metal sector hired him to take charge of the design and creation tasks of several websites.
At the end of that same year, he was introduced to the Drupal CMS as part of his training for a new project. Since then, he has continued to specialize in the knowledge and management of this powerful tool, which combines all areas related to the development of web and/or mobile applications.
In 2019, he decided to create the training website www.drupaladicto.com, with its respective YouTube channel, to share with the Spanish-speaking community his knowledge and experience using the Drupal CMS and the Symfony framework. Most of the documentation available on the Internet usually appears in English.
He continues researching and expanding his knowledge of web applications, especially the development of Drupal and/or Symfony projects, interacting with other related applications.
