Bibliothèque et archives nationales du Québec

The Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ) is a government agency in Quebec that oversees the province's legal deposit system, national archives, and national library. Established in 2006 through the merger of the Bibliothèque nationale du Québec and the Archives nationales du Québec, BAnQ is based at the Grande Bibliothèque in Montreal. The agency is responsible for preserving and providing access to Quebec's documentary heritage.
