The central part of the event is the 45-minute sessions covering 23 topics divided into two parallel streams. They are held in ‘Joy of Being’ and ‘Inspiration’ halls. 

The opening day sessions at the ‘Inspiration’ hall at Bay Area Drupal Camp 2022, which is held in Dharma College, Berkeley.

Bay Area Drupal Camp is hosting 23 sessions of 45-minute duration covering two days across two parallel streams. Here are the six back-to-back sessions at ‘Joy of Being’ for the opening day. 

This year, the BADCamp is hosting two training sessions. The first day will see 'Getting Started with Drupal' by Tearyne, and the next day will see Decoupling Drupal using GraphQL & Gatsby: A Crash Course by Jesus.

This year, BAD Camp is hosting five different summits, one being a virtual summit.

At the UX sessions, I heard the familiar talk about not using flickering images and unstoppable videos or sound. Only to be presented with just that during the keynote talks!

A couple of developers I spoke with during DrupalCon Prague expressed concern about the disappearance of the Source button. It will become impossible to use HTML editing because of this. In my experience, HTML editing is used primarily to find workarounds for editing problems. Hopefully, in CKEditor 5, we won’t need these workarounds anymore. 

The update to CKEditor 5 is a big deal, as one can tell by the number of sessions during DrupalCon Prague dedicated to this project. CKEditor 5 has been written from scratch. It is an entirely new editor with different architecture and APIs. The new architect makes browser-specific bugs a thing of the past.
