Banques Alimentaires (banquealimentaire.org) is a civic and social organization in France focused on fighting food insecurity and waste. Founded on principles of free distribution, sharing, and volunteerism, it operates 79 food banks and 29 branches, redistributing over 224 million meals annually to 2.4 million people and supporting more than 850 social grocery stores.
