Socio-Environmental Institute

The Instituto Socioambiental (ISA) is dedicated to defending the socio-environmental diversity of Brazil. Since 1994, it has worked alongside indigenous, quilombola, and extractive communities to develop solutions that protect their territories, strengthen their cultures, enhance their political profiles, and promote sustainable economies. The organization operates through advocacy, education, and community engagement, with a focus on environmental conservation and the rights of traditional populations.
