Nantes Academy

The Nantes Academy supports 889,000 pupils, apprentices, and students, representing 24% of the total population within its area of ​​operation. It welcomes and manages nearly 70,700 staff (teachers, supervisory, educational, administrative, technical, manual, service, and healthcare staff). The Academy's distinctive features include a higher proportion of vocational education than the national average, a relatively low rate of young people without a diploma (8%), and particularly high exam success rates, particularly for the general, technological, and professional baccalaureates. The Nantes Academy encompasses five departments that correspond to the Pays de la Loire region: Loire-Atlantique (44), Maine-et-Loire (49), Mayenne (53), Sarthe (72), and Vendée (85).
