Pan American Health Organization

The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) is an international health agency dedicated to improving and protecting the health of people in the Americas. It works with member countries to prevent and control communicable and noncommunicable diseases, strengthen health systems, respond to health emergencies, promote immunization, and advance health equity through technical cooperation, policy development, and regional initiatives.
